The booklet is meant to stimulate thinking about God and some of the questions people have about Christianity. It can be used for evangelization and edification. The afterlife is a subject we all deal with one way or another, whether we believe in it or reject it. And if we do believe, the next step is how we think we can get there. I believe the response of each individual will make a very huge difference in his or her forever happiness.

2022 Creation Biology for Beginners
I have updated my Creation Biology for Beginners booklet. The booklet is for persons interested in the relationship between biology and religion. The discussions of science and religion in general have brought on a spectrum of opinions, from denial that one is affected by the other at all, to insistence that they are completely intertwined. I invite you to take a look at this FREE, short (16-page) booklet by clicking the link on the image or RIGHT HERE. I hope it will intrigue you enough to continue your educational experience with my 40-page booklet, Creation Biology, found at the link RIGHT HERE.
Thanks for your visit!

Creation Biology, 2021 Edition
Be sure to tell anyone you know that is interested in the controversy about Darwinian evolution that this is a thought-provoking booklet about the possibility, and even probability, that God created life directly by supernatural means.
PS -- I use the Word 2016 program for word processing. I can convert to PDF, but it has limits. The bad news is that you can't click directly to the endnotes on the last pages (34-35), At least the PDF scrolls easily (once the file is all there), so to go to an endnote, remember what page you are on, scroll to see the note and then go back up to your page when ready. The good news is that the endnote hyperlinks work, so you can go to the references directly from the booklet. If anyone knows of an online converter that works with footnotes and endnotes, please drop a line.
PPS -- I do my own booklet graphics, so they are not perfect, but the links will take you to the original works. I will, however, be turning to a professional company for the cover for the new version. I'll post the change as soon as it's done!

Book Files
My main concern was that the books' PDF files did not show up well on my laptop when I opened them. My guess is that to best view them you will have to download the file and read it from your own computer. The browsers have versions of their own PDF readers, and the well-known Adobe Acrobat Reader has free software for reading PDF files. You can get more information on the Adobe software HERE.
I apologize that this is probably at least partly a low-tech cop-out. But if anyone requests something else, I can try to accommodate, perhaps even with their help. I am just glad to feel I am doing something with the blog again.
The coming of September with school starting has made me want to get in a regular routine of reading and writing. I feel like I am getting my goals done each day when I read several verses of a study Bible with notes and a few pages of some other books. Now I'm even writing a blog post! I am hoping I can stick even loosely to my schedule.
Thanks to anyone who visits. Feel free to drop me a line. 💌

A Blessed Christmas 2018 to All
Just a little technical note, I discovered my books here on PDF files can be viewed better on my phone and nook than on my laptop (where they can be seen but are quite large). The EPUB was not supported on my phone and didn't come out well on the laptop but looked good on my nook (sigh--technology). I am glad they can still be read reasonably well at least on some devices although I realize they suffer from the shortcomings of an amateur.
Books can be accessed on their pages which can be reached on the top line and on the right column. I had a mobile design selected for a while but it didn't work well with my blog so I switched back to web version. I hope you can read it well enough if you want on a phone. If you have any suggestions I'd be happy to hear them. I hope any of you who are interested in reading one or more of my books and booklets will find the version best suited for you.

Updates Needed and Slowly Coming
I also must update the posts since many links are now outdated. I am starting at the chronological beginning of March, 2008. I look forward to having that done soon.

Mission: Faithful
At the time, Barnes and Noble was open to promoting local authors, and I am thankful to have had a book signing at our nearby store. It was attended by friends and relatives, most of whom had already received the book free from me. To say I am not a dynamic marketer is a vast understatement, and I sold very few. So, I gave several to local libraries and a few to others and more or less called it quits.
Though we might have varying opinions on specific aspects of wisdom, I hope my books are wise, especially in the sense that I try to bring out, through the characters, ways our relationship with God affects our lives. The books are meant, like many fictional stories, to provoke thought about deeper things.
I wrote Mission: Faithful on a computer program so old that I would have to re-type it to make it available digitally. I am not planning to spend the time on that, but I have put Unto Others into accessible digital form. I also have a few non-fiction booklets available on the blog. The names are lined up as links under the top picture of the blog. You can read and download any or all of them, which I heartily encourage. (2019 Update: I'm glad to say I finally was able to put this into a single file and it is now on my blog.)

Biotech Swirl
Biotech Swirl is a medical mystery thriller set in the current explosion of biotechnology. The Catholic Chaplain Jan Pace is pulled into the dark side of scientific research when Dr. Hunter Balik suspects dangerous genetically engineered bacteria infecting several of his patients and asks her to help him investigate. Though she is not a medical expert, he feels she is trustworthy and he frankly needs a friend. As they proceed, they fear bio-terrorism but the crimes seem personal and murder can’t be discounted.
Please enjoy this new medical thriller for free! It is also in EPUB format, with that link in the page accessed on the right column. If you do not have readers for PDF or EPUB files, you can get free ones at app stores.
I hope Biotech Swirl will be engaging and thought-provoking for you.

Free Reads!
I had written Heaven’s Passport back in 2005. It addresses some common questions about Christianity in a straightforward way. It is meant to be a tool for evangelization, and can be read online or downloaded. It can also be printed into a 20-page booklet by anyone with 5 regular-sized pieces of printing paper and therefore passed along to others in this form. I had it on my blog for a while but had taken it off. I had done the cover of Heaven’s Passport myself and it was not very professional-looking. So I decided to make the effort to purchase a cover designed by a local printing business, and it looks much better. Heaven’s Passport can be read in one sitting or in sections, and I hope you will take the time to read it or download it now for perusal and sharing. It is in PDF form, and most devices already have readers for these files. If you download and need a reader program, you can get a free one at an app store.Friday, November 21, 2008
